Aurora PB dewatering belts run on belt press filters through gravity drainage, wedge and high-pressure pressing zones. We offer both woven press fabrics and spiral-link press belts (see our spiral press filter belt page) with reinforced seams, and select permeability per zone — coarser for gravity drainage, tighter for pressing.

The belts run the full cycle: free water drains in the gravity zone, the wedge squeezes the remaining liquor out, and the press rollers finish the job — permeability and seam strength are selected per zone.

What is a dewatering belt?
A dewatering belt is the press filter belt that runs on a belt press filter: it drains water through its openings while withstanding high squeeze pressure between the press rollers.
Which belt permeability do I need?
Coarser, more permeable belts suit the gravity drainage zone; tighter weaves suit the high-pressure pressing zone. We select permeability per press zone and material.
Are reinforced seams available?
Yes — reinforced seams extend belt life under high squeeze pressure; stainless steel clipper seams are available on request.
Spiral or woven belt — which one?
